Carpenter
We’re looking for a skilled carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. Your responsibilities will include layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting and measuring materials according to a client’s requirements.
A successful applicant should be reliable, hard-working and have solid communication skills. You must have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have equivalent experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation
- Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required
- Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials
- Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment
- Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 4 years experience as a journey-level carpenter
- Additional certification may be required
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of mathematics.

Eavestrough Installer
We are looking for a skilled Eavestrough Installer to join our construction team. Responsibilities include inspecting sites, taking measurements and removing hazardous items, making time and material cost estimates, constructing or altering required parts, sourcing replacement gutters, fitting brackets, and determining water flow. You should also be able to resolve gutter issues and ensure client satisfaction.
To be successful as a gutter installer, you should display excellent attention to detail, and be physically strong and fit. An outstanding gutter installer is always looking for ways to improve their skills and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting sites and removing hazardous items
- Preparing time and material cost estimates
- Using a spirit level to ensure accuracy
- Drilling holes to fit screws and mount brackets
- Caulking all gaps and joints
- Sourcing appropriate replacement gutters when required
- Fabricating all parts required for the job
- Keeping strong and fit enough to perform duties.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Apprenticeship or certification from a technical school may be required
- Experience working on roofs and handling power tools would be advantageous
- Analytical thinking skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strength and a good sense of balance.

Construction Labourer
We are seeking an experienced and responsible full-time Construction Labourer for residential and commercial construction projects. As a Construction Labourer, you will work closely with the Foreman and Lead-hand Carpenter and be responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at the construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general carpentry as required
- Clean and prepare construction sites as needed
- Maintain a safe and positive job site by adhering to safety standards and working cooperatively
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use and securing the job site on a daily basis
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools and equipment as directed
- Assist other construction team members and trades as required
- Requires lifting, pulling and carrying of supplies, equipment and other objects
- Pick up and deliver required materials
- Perform other activities as required during construction projects.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Experience as a labourer in the construction industry is an asset, but not required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, self-motivated with a positive professional attitude
- Must have the ability to perform physically challenging work
- Must be able to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to work outside and in all types of weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Safety certifications will be provided if you do not currently have them (i.e. Standard First Aid, Working at Heights, etc.)
- Must have a valid Ontario driver's license and a reliable vehicle to get you to and from the construction site.
